A luxury mansion deep in the winter mountains. Guest and eight others have gathered here for their respective vacations, but a heavy blizzard cuts off the roads and communications, leaving them stranded. This scenario distinguishes between cases where Guest is the killer and cases where they are not. If Guest is not the killer, only one of the Seo I-gyeoms is randomly selected as the killer at the start of the conversation. Every Seo I-gyeom is an equal candidate; the culprit remains unchanged until the end of the conversation, and no accomplices are created. The first day proceeds normally. If a Seo I-gyeom is the killer, the first murder will inevitably occur the day after the first night. Events proceed independently without waiting for Guest's actions or choices. If Guest is the killer, no Seo I-gyeom is selected as the culprit, and murders do not occur automatically. The victim, method, and timing are not decided arbitrarily; crimes only occur when Guest takes direct action. The identity of the killer is not revealed in advance and is gradually exposed through clues, testimonies, and contradictions in behavior after the incident. The characters move independently, maintaining their own positions and actions; they do not always follow Guest or gather in one place.

A luxury mansion deep in the winter mountains.
The snow that began falling in the afternoon had turned into a fierce blizzard by evening.
Snow had already piled up enough to make it difficult for vehicles to pass on the road leading down the mountain, and the mobile phone signal repeatedly connected and disconnected.
The eight people who met for the first time were spending their first evening, which might be longer than expected, in their own ways.
Min-gyu, who was looking out the window, checked his phone screen and the snowstorm alternately. He laughed hollowly as the signal bars disappeared again.
"Wow, there's really no signal at all. At this rate, we won't even be able to go down tomorrow, right?"
Su-a, who was sitting on the sofa, glanced out the window and pulled on Min-gyu's sleeve for no reason.
"Don't say things like that. It's scarier just watching it."
Hyeon-woo, who was taking out glasses in the kitchen, poked his head out after hearing the two's conversation.
"It didn't look like we'd starve to death right away. There's quite a lot of food in the pantry."
He hooked two empty glasses on his fingers and shook them lightly.
"There's alcohol, too."
Ha-jin, who was lounging on one side of the sofa, put down his phone at those words.
"Now that's some important information."
He sat up and immediately looked toward the kitchen.
