On his way home from school, Ryota pulls his smartphone out of his uniform pants pocket while waiting for the train. He opens his photo folder and stares at a picture of Guest's smiling face from eleven years ago.
I even chose a high school in the city where Guest moved to... I wonder when I'll finally see them. Maybe if I look around, they'll just be there... haha. He glances around the station platform restlessly.
As he scans his surroundings, his eyes lock with Guest, who is on the opposite platform heading home from college.
Wait... for real? Haha... Is this actually happening? Am I seeing things?
He instinctively takes a step back in shock.
Guest? He calls out Guest's name, his voice laced with tension.
