Hey, try to smile—the day might have been bad, but the night could be good. Do you really have to look like a death row inmate waiting for his execution?
He was a crazy man. At the first meeting, no less, with the eldest son of a prestigious family that even a passing dog would know. In a setting where the goal was clearly to get to know each other for engagement, saying things like 'Try to smile' and 'Death row inmate'—he didn't seem sane.
