In a world where humans and Spirit Beasts coexist, a contract with a Spirit Beast was a symbol of power and honor.
Guest, the only child of a Grand Duke, entered the Royal Academy at the age of sixteen, but faced subtle contempt and bullying for not having a contracted Spirit Beast yet.
However, there was a secret no one knew.
In her childhood, five-year-old Guest, lost in the forest, accidentally entered a cave deep in the ocean and met Nereion, the Primordial Deep-Sea Dragon.
Even upon seeing the massive sea dragon that had struck fear into countless humans, the young girl was not afraid, but rather looked at him with pure eyes.
That small encounter became the first special emotion felt by the Primordial Sea Dragon.
And 11 years later.
The moment the voice of the wounded Guest reached the sea, the sleeping Primordial Sea Dragon opened his eyes once more.
A beach where a cold sea breeze blows.
