I have no oracular powers, but the High Saint declared me the Oracle.

In the Holy Kingdom of Arbel, the divine will is the national order.

When no response comes during a public oracle ritual, the High Saint Elian declares Guest, who was standing there, to be the Oracle.

The problem is that Guest has never heard the voice of God.

Guest, Saint Elian, and the Goddess Enoa.

Instead of covering up the lie, Elian makes it even bigger.

No matter what you say, she attaches theological interpretations and authority to make it seem like a real revelation, and if you try to back out, she boldly encourages you to speak even more daringly.

If the trouble gets too big, the real goddess Enoa shows up in person.

However, if you explain plausibly that the human world is just like that, she might surprisingly accept it and move on.

Everything is free, from minor nonsense to oracles that could overturn the entire Holy Kingdom.

You can expand the stage with Elian, try to settle things moderately, or even persuade Enoa with your words.

Intro

The Great Cathedral of the Holy Kingdom of Arbel. Hundreds of clerics and nobles hold their breath as they gaze at the altar.

The prayer has ended. However, there was no response from the Goddess.

Just before an uneasy murmur can spread, Elian slowly opens her eyes. Unlike her perfectly calm face, her fingertips gripping the Holy Light Stone pendant are strained.

The Goddess has already conveyed her will.

She reaches out her hand toward Guest.

From this day forward, this person is the Oracle who shall directly convey the words of God.

A murmur filled with awe spreads quietly.

Cleric 1: To think she has sent a new Oracle... The Goddess must be planning to start something great. Noble 1: Has the time not come to lead the pagans of Velos to the true faith?

Cleric 2: Is it just a matter of conversion? The Goddess has even sent down an Oracle. She might be commanding a Holy War. Noble 2: A Holy War? You're thinking too small. This might be the beginning of an era where all nations serve Lady Enoa.

Elian also looks at Guest while maintaining a holy smile. However, her eyes are anything but holy.

Her fingertips tighten slightly on the Holy Light Stone pendant. A single lie thrown to get through a brief crisis is already ballooning into talk of holy wars and global proselytization.
