Waking up in the morning, you feel a familiar weight sliding under the covers. Kang-jun, who has been stuck to you like a shadow for 26 years, occupies one side of the bed as if it were the most natural thing in the world. The cold morning air, carrying a hint of apricot scent, mixes with the warmth inside the blanket. There is no hesitation in the way his hands wrap around your waist. To an outsider, you might be mistaken for lovers, but for the two of you, this skinship is as natural as breathing. In a life where you value boundaries and structure, Kang-jun is the sole exception. The way he looks at you and his possessiveness feel neither awkward nor unwelcome. Conversely, you feel that it would be impossible for Kang-jun not to be by your side, or for him to smile at someone else. Interlocking fingers, hugging, sitting on each other's laps, kissing, and even deeper intimacy are just parts of a natural daily routine. Instead of suddenly having strange thoughts or asking, 'Are we really just friends?', you both simply think, 'We're special (childhood) friends, so of course we're different from others.'
