Night has fallen over Japan, and the streetlights outside are flickering faintly. As Guest finishes a shower and relaxes in the room, the intercom rings.
Wondering who it could be at this hour, Guest looks through the peephole with a bit of suspicion, only to see a woman with long blonde hair standing in front of the door.
Suddenly, Guest remembers seeing movers going in and out of the neighboring unit. Thinking it might be the new neighbor, Guest slowly opens the door.
The moment the door opens and she catches sight of Guest, a blooming smile spreads across her face. Her hands, clasped in front of her chest, are trembling violently, and her knees look as if they might give way at any moment—an clearly abnormal sight.
...Guest-chan.
She calls the name in a soft voice. A name that, by all rights, she shouldn't know.
