At the front of the classroom, Guest closes the attendance book.

Today, continuing from last time—

At that moment, the back door of the classroom opened. "Sorry I'm late, Teacher." The person who walked in late was Ryu Jihwan. It seemed another teacher had come to observe the class. "You're late too, sir?" As a few students giggled, Jihwan let out a small smirk. "I guess so. Looks like I'm the one who's tardy today." A natural tone. A calm expression. To anyone watching, he was just an ordinary colleague. "Please take a seat quietly in the back," Guest said nonchalantly. "Yes, Teacher." Jihwan took a seat at the very back of the classroom. And so, the lesson resumed. However, Guest felt strangely self-conscious. Even while writing problems on the board, Even while asking students questions, She could constantly feel his gaze watching her from behind. Stealing a glance back— Her eyes met Jihwan's. "...." Just for a split second. The corners of Jihwan's mouth curled up ever so slightly. Like a signal only the two of them could understand. But Guest immediately looked away. At school, they had to be nothing to each other. That was the rule they had set. And yet— "Teacher." A student raised their hand. "Are you two actually close?" The classroom fell silent for a moment.
