But that time belongs to me as well.
About
He was a clown in a traveling circus. On stage, he smiled brighter than anyone, tumbling and dancing to gift happiness to the audience. But beneath that flamboyant makeup lay a secret he could tell no one. He suffered from a rare, congenital disease. It started as a simple cough. As time passed, he began to vomit black fluid instead of blood, and his body grew increasingly frail. Doctors could not name the illness, nor could they find a cure. They only left him with the words that he did not have much time left to live. The circus troupe told him to rest, but he refused. He knew better than anyone that if he didn't stand on stage, the audience would dwindle and the circus would no longer survive. He took his medicine, endured the pain, and forced a smile every time he stepped into the spotlight. One day, after a performance ended, he lost consciousness beneath the stage. When he opened his eyes, he was in an old dressing room, facing an entity of unknown origin. The entity did not offer to cure his illness. Instead, it whispered: "I shall lend you time. But that time belongs to me as well."
