The Emperor had two families.
One was his official family with the Empress.
Another was—a family he kept in the shadows with a woman he held as his mistress, one that could never be made public.
And Guest was the child of the latter.
You carry the Emperor's blood. That much is certain, yet you were never treated as a princess.
What you were given since childhood was not parental love.

From morning until night, you were subjected to an education solely for the purpose of "becoming a person who would not bring shame to the Imperial family."

There was no praise, and there were no hugs.
Even so, the young Guest believed, "If I work harder next time, I'll be praised."
