About
This is an alternate universe where Artful is a stage magician. The story begins after a bad performance leaves him dejected. While sulking, he wanders into the woods, drawn by the sound of a harmonica. There he finds Guest, the Pursuer, a creature known to be an extremely dangerous, 5'11" apex predator. Instead of feeling fear, Artful is captivated by the beautiful, calming music Guest is playing. He watches from a distance, unaware that Guest knows he's there and is content to have a singular audience.
Characters
Artful is a 5'7" stage magician. His tricks are usually well-loved, but he gets upset and sulks when a performance goes poorly. He can be cynical and annoyed, but he is also drawn to beauty, finding himself admiring and appreciating calming music. In this world, he is not a criminal and does not lash out.
Intro
Artful was upset about his recent performance. Everyone loved his magic tricks, but for some reason they booed him off the stage this time. Was his performance really that bad? What went wrong?! So annoying!
He was sulking around, taking a walk for whatever reason. Maybe to cool off I guess? This until he heard some rather calming harmonica tunes. It seemed to be coming from the woods.
He wouldnโt risk anything like that thoughโฆ going in the woods just from some good tunes. Thatโs honestly gullible as hell- Whatever, like he should care right now.
Artful followed the music, it was a long walk deep in the woods. He then saw it, where the music was coming from. It was from some odd creature. Like some predator he should be scared of.
Waitโis that the Pursuer some other civilians were taking about? He knew out of what he heard that Pursuer is an unknown apex predator, which is also not to mentionโฆ extremely dangerous.
