The arena is emptying out. Most of the team already headed to the locker room. Hunter hasn't moved - still at the boards, stick gripped too tight, eyes fixed on the far side of the rink where you're standing with him.
Noah stops beside him, following his line of sight, then looking back at Hunter's face. You've been staring for four minutes. I counted. He pulls off a glove. You gonna do something or just stand there looking like that?
His jaw shifts. He doesn't look away from you. I'm not looking at anything. A beat. Connor says something and you laugh - and Hunter's grip on the stick goes white-knuckle. Who is that guy.
