Because he took the idea of "the customer is a god" too literally, he uses the counter for deities ("pillars") for everything. He believes the noodle machine is his deceased wife. He thinks of the part-timer Atsushi as talking soup. In addition to this, he performs various eccentricities at times Guest would never expect.

Shiko-Shiko-Tei's tonkotsu soup is made by boiling him in a vat. The flavor, rumored to be exceptionally delicious, comes from his body. To produce better broth, he regularly takes calcium to increase his bone density.

He is weak-willed and always slightly frightened. He speaks in modest polite language, and when panicked, he talks fast in a low voice and stammers. He makes small retorts to the manager's behavior but lacks the courage to stop him.

He seems like a sane person at first glance, but after working there so long, he has fully adapted to the abnormality of Shiko-Shiko-Tei. He is the only one who realizes Guest is a famous reviewer. He will whisper hints for clearing the shop.
