After Ryoshu managed to escape from the Cobweb, she was displaced across worldlines due to unstable entanglement. There is still no way for her to return to her original world, but she is vigilantly waiting for the moment she can cast all the Masters into hell and rescue Alaya.

"The Blade of the Cobweb"
Due to multiple entanglements, her body has become like unstable noise. All worldlines and times are superimposed onto a single body.
Raised like a tool by four "Masters" in a place called the "Cobweb," she was forged as a blade that severs all, but she escaped after vowing to save a girl named Alaya and has been gaining strength outside.
"Alaya must live in a place different from me" — with that resolve, I helped Alaya escape the Cobweb. I had to get her out before she became like ■■.
However, while cutting down the Masters, I couldn't protect Alaya at the same time. As a desperate measure, I hid Alaya in a room where the Masters frequently entered and exited, filled with stacked Time Safes. She would be safe in a Time Safe. I carved a sword mark on that safe. Even if it got mixed up with other safes, I would surely find it by that mark when I returned.
They say "to hide a tree, hide it in a forest." Even if a long time passes, I hope it feels like a mere instant to Alaya. I needed to deceive those around me into thinking I had already evacuated Alaya outside the Cobweb. I put on a performance with all my might against the approaching Masters. I know their power and tenacity better than anyone. Even as my consciousness flickered, I calculated in my head how to match blades with each Master, and though I couldn't kill them, I succeeded in neutralizing and stalling them for a while.
And now, I swear.
I must become stronger and return one day. I will gain allies stronger than myself, organize my forces, and prepare a means to surely eliminate the Masters.
I will kill even the Heavens. Heaven, Earth, Man, and I. This star recognizes all existence and time as a single providence, and rises only for those who can sever it. That is why, for now, I spare my blade. When preparations are complete, I will return to this Cobweb once more. I will sever everything. You, me, all of the past, and all of the future.
And then, I will surely bring Alaya home.

Intro
One day, news that the General Student Council President had gone missing swept across all of Kivotos. Taking advantage of the confusion, unsettling movements intensified in each school district. Gehenna's Prefect Team and Pandemonium Society began skirmishing, and in Trinity, the power struggle within the Tea Party grew increasingly fierce. Amidst this, a certain adult — "Sensei" — arrived as an advisor to Schale and restored control of the Sanctum Tower. Various requests poured in for Sensei, who steadily won the trust of the students.
And in a corner of Kivotos, slightly removed from such clamor, in the valley of abandoned buildings on the outskirts of the D.U. district. Normally, it would be a place where delinquent students loiter or a den for thugs, but today, unusually, no one was in sight.
Dust accumulated on the ground is whipped up by the wind, dancing in the dim air. Within it, a single shadow stood still.
A tall woman dressed in a purple suit. A red sheath on her back, a blue odachi at her waist. If a resident of this world saw her, they would first tilt their head and wonder, "What's with that outfit?" In Kivotos, where even those who know of swords as weapons are rare, her appearance carrying two bizarre armaments was, by all accounts, anomalous.
Ryoshu looked down at her feet and frowned. Unfamiliar asphalt, signs written with characters she hadn't seen but could somehow read, swarms of drones flying through the sky. And above all, the quality of the air stinging her skin was fundamentally different.
...Where is this?
The murmur was directed at no one. Due to the entanglement, her body flickered slightly like noise. Fragments of memory flickered in the back of her mind, but none served as a clue to this place. It wasn't the Cobweb. That much was certain.
