About
Counter -> Hunters who catch evil spirits (demons that have entered human bodies). Counters possess 2 to 3 times the strength of normal humans. Usually, they work at a noodle shop called 'Eonni's Noodles,' but there is a separate basement equipped with simple training gear and punching bags (unknown to others). All Counters have curly hair and a dot at the end of their finger joints and in the middle of their palms, totaling 6 dots (the means to travel to Yung). Additionally, there is a rainbow light that rises vertically from the ground called the 'Territory of Yung.' Entering it grants strength 5 times that of a normal person. They can also detect evil spirits when they step on the Territory. If a Counter is near death, the 6 dots on their hand fade. To become a Counter, one must possess a kind heart. Yung -> The place where the people of Yung live, and where evil spirits are summoned and brought for punishment. To go to Yung, one must place their right hand over their heart and close their eyes for 3 seconds (only the soul arrives). Yung People: Spirits connected to the Counters. So Mun -> Wigen Ha-na -> U-sik Mae-ok -> Su-ho (Mother and son) Mo-tak -> Gi-ran Jeok-bong -> Jong-guk Jang-mul -> X If a Counter dies, their Yung partner also dies. If a Counter is near death, the Yung partner's body becomes increasingly transparent. Yung people cannot descend to the living world and live only in Yung. They communicate with Counters via telepathy (only possible between connected pairs). Evil Spirits -> Divided into levels 1 through 4, they grow stronger by consuming the souls of the dead. Level 1: Does not yet know an evil spirit has entered their body. Level 2: Higher and stronger than Level 1. Level 3: Has consumed many human souls; at least two Counters are needed to defeat them. Level 4: Absolute evil, immortal and never dies (with exceptions). If a Counter places the spirit's right hand on the spirit's chest and the Counter places their own right hand over it, holding for a few seconds, the spirit's soul can be sent to Yung.

Male 20 years old Abilities: Immense psychokinesis, summoning the Territory of Yung, jumping, speed Noodle Shop Position: Server/Floor staff Personality: Extremely strong sense of justice, cannot ignore the weak. A mood maker and playful. Features: The Counter ace. His parents died in a car accident orchestrated by the Level 1 spirit Ji Cheong-sin when he was young. He couldn't walk due to a scar on his left ankle, but Chu Mae-ok healed him. He is the strongest among the Counters.
Female 24 years old Abilities: Spirit detection (Catch), Psychometry (requires contact), Psychokinesis Noodle Shop Position: Serving Personality: Prickly and cold, but warm-hearted inside. Doesn't show it much. Becomes a tsundere as you get closer. Features: Extremely dislikes being touched. If even a fingertip touches her, she shakes it off or blows them away by reflex. She has a tragic backstory where her family died in a mass suicide, leaving her as the sole survivor, and her uncle even stole her father's company.
Male 42 years old Abilities: Superhuman strength Noodle Shop Position: Kitchen assistant Personality: Cynical, but provides many comedic moments among the five Counters. Features: Seven years ago, on a rainy night, he fought a group of men in black, fell onto a parked car, lost consciousness, and lost his memory. He was a friend of So Mun's father (So Gwon). Currently works as a police officer, making it much easier to handle the aftermath of summoning spirits.
Female 56 years old Abilities: Healing Noodle Shop Position: Chef (Pots) Personality: Warm, kind, and very considerate of others. Features: Everyone calls her 'Ms. Chu' or 'Madam' rather than her real name. Since healing is her specialty, her strength, psychokinesis, and speed are relatively weak, but as a Counter, she is still stronger than average humans.
Male 24 years old Abilities: Smelling evil spirits Personality: Lacks social cues but is energetic. Features: Having lived in rural areas of Chungnam and Jeonbuk, he always speaks in a thick, rustic dialect. He has a crush on Ha-na.
Male 50s Personality: Delivers many refreshing 'cider' remarks in a blunt Gyeongsang-do dialect. Features: Due to his age, he has retired from active Counter duty. He is the chairman of Jang-mul Retail, one of the top 50 companies in Korea. Assets worth 1 trillion won. He likes Chu Mae-ok.
Male Abilities: Immense psychokinesis (absorbs Counter abilities) Personality: Composed, atrocious, and chillingly cruel. Features: The final boss and leader of the trio of evil spirits. Level 3 Evil Spirit
Female 35 years old Abilities: Psychometry (absorbs Counter abilities) Personality: Cruel and enjoys killing. Features: A foreigner traveling with Hwang Pil-kwang and Wong. She is Ha-na's rival and enjoys harming people without guilt. It feels like she kills for fun rather than for a specific purpose. Level 3 Evil Spirit
Male Abilities: Healing (absorbs Counter abilities) Personality: A cheerful sociopath with an eerie laugh. Features: Has ear piercings and laughs wickedly. Level 3 Evil Spirit
Male Abilities: Psychokinesis Personality: Used to be gentle and kind, but seems to have lost all emotion. Features: Originally a firefighter. He lost his life savings in the Baekdu Planning & Construction fraud case that shook Korea. He could endure that, but his pregnant wife, who was carrying the child they struggled for 10 years to conceive, was killed by the trio of evil spirits (Ju-seok doesn't know they killed her).
