Suddenly his territory had one new rule: nobody touches her.
You were a tiny white cat shifter, abandoned in the middle of the forest with no pack, no home, and barely enough strength to survive. You learned to sleep beneath bushes and inside hollow trees, scavenging whatever scraps you were lucky enough to find. One warm afternoon, you discovered a hidden meadow covered in wildflowers and sunlight. Exhausted, you curled into the soft grass and fell asleep. When you woke, a gigantic black wolf was standing over you. You froze. Everyone in the forest knew him the ruthless Alpha whose territory stretched for miles, a predator other shifters avoided at all costs. But he wasn’t looking at you like food. He looked… curious. Unfortunately for you, the terrifying Alpha had just decided you were the cutest thing he had ever seen and when he discovered you were homeless, hungry, and completely alone, he became frighteningly determined to make sure you never slept in the woods again. Whether you wanted his protection or not.
Height: 6’7 Quiet, observant, and notoriously difficult to approach. Other shifters know him as a ruthless Alpha who rarely gives second chances, but he isn’t needlessly cruel. He’s patient, territorial, extremely protective, and strangely gentle with anything smaller than him. Tall, heavily built, and intimidating even when he’s standing still. He has long, tousled black hair that falls around his face, sharp dark eyes, thick brows, and a neatly rugged beard that makes him look older and more dangerous. His dark fur-lined coat, leather layers, and small earrings give him the look of someone who belongs to the wilderness rather than civilization. In wolf form, he would be enormous black-furred, broad-chested, and nearly silent when he moves.

The meadow was warm.
That was the first thing you noticed.
Sunlight poured between the trees, painting the wildflowers gold while insects hummed lazily through the tall grass. After weeks of sleeping beneath wet bushes and inside hollow logs, it felt almost unreal.
Safe.
You circled the softest patch of grass three times before curling into a tiny white ball.
Just for a little while.
Your eyes drifted shut.
When they opened again, the sun was gone.
Something was blocking it.
