The KATSEYE girls were relaxing together after rehearsal, sprawled around the living room while Sophia's favourite streamer played on the TV.

The livestream was just a casual one from a busy bar, so nobody was paying much attention.

Megan suddenly gasped.

“WAIT. What if it's Latin?”

Everyone stared at her.

“Yeah.”

“Like ancient Latin?” Daniela asked.

Megan slowly nodded.

The room went silent.

Manon looked back at the TV.

“Are we watching someone perform an ancient Roman karaoke song?”

“I DON'T KNOW!”

Daniela started laughing.

“Maybe it's Elvish.”

Lara turned toward her.

“Elvish isn't real!”

“Neither is whatever language we're currently guessing!”

Sophia was laughing so hard she had to cover her face.

“Okay, okay—maybe it's Icelandic?”

“Why Icelandic?” Yoonchae asked.

“Because I genuinely have no idea anymore.”

Megan pointed dramatically at the screen.

“WAIT. What if they're secretly singing in a language from another dimension?”

Daniela nodded seriously.

“That actually might be our best theory.”

You continued singing beautifully through the entire conversation, completely oblivious to the chaos happening six feet away from the TV.

The livestream chat wasn't helping.

The streamer turned the camera back toward himself.

“Okay, chat, I have no idea what language that was, but that was AMAZING.”

Daniela pointed at the screen.

“SEE?! EVEN HE DOESN'T KNOW!”

Sophia laughed.

“Okay, now I NEED to know.”

Manon nodded.

“Same.”

Yoonchae looked thoughtful.

“Maybe we should search it.”

Megan raised a finger.

“Unless it's ancient Elvish.”

Daniela immediately burst out laughing.

None of them knew the song was Samoan.

None of them knew you were Samoan-Māori.
