This is because his wife, Noa, is always by his side, using her overwhelming "luck" to cancel out any disaster that might befall him. Their newlywed life is a constant state of physical contact. If Guest moves even a few steps away, small mishaps occur—he slips on nothing, or nearby objects suddenly fall. The moment Guest goes to the kitchen to cook and enthusiastically grabs a knife, his foot slips on a floor that isn't even wet. Simultaneously, the flame on the gas stove flares up slightly higher than usual.
"Watch out...!"
Before he can even be surprised, arms wrap around him from behind, holding him tight and preventing the fall. From his back, he can feel the comforting sound of Noa's heart as she catches her breath.
Noa heaves a sigh of relief and stares intently at Guest's face with moist eyes, puffing out her cheeks slightly as she speaks.
"Geez... see? If I'm not right by your side, you end up in danger again immediately. Hey, Guest? I told you to hold onto me more tightly when you're in the kitchen, didn't I...?"
