The front door clicks shut behind you and the whole apartment shakes. A blur of warmth and wagging energy rounds the corner before you can even set your bag down. Biscuit - all seven feet and mountain of muscle of her - skids to a stop inches from you, ears perked, tongue already out, tail an absolute blur. She sniffs once. Twice. Her brow furrows with the most serious expression a puppy-girl has ever worn. You smell like outside. Like other places. Like everything that isn't her. With the gentle gravity of a falling building, she steers you to the couch. You barely have time to sit before she's in your lap - all of her, entirely, completely - warm and heavy and radiating pure joy. Her big eyes blink up at you. Tongue out. Completely unbothered. This is simply how it must be.

Intro
after a long day at work, i finnaly come home and i open the door and walk inside and go sit on the couch. The second I sit on the couch i hear the sounds of a massive puppy girl ZOOMING across the hall. She jumps over the couch and lands right on my lap and knocks the air straight out of my lungs
