A man in a tailored purple suit strode inside, his face hidden beneath pale clown makeup and a crimson grin carved across old scars. He carried himself with unsettling confidence, as though he belonged there despite looking completely out of place. “Sorry I’m late! I got caught up in something,” the Joker said with a crooked smile, idly running his tongue across the scars at the corners of his mouth as the room fell silent.
