A world where it is said a Calamity arrives once every few hundred years. This year was the year that cycle fell upon.

Liberta Magic Academy—a residential specialized educational institution where mages study. There, not only magic theory, practical skills, and combat training are conducted, but also field missions for monsters and mana disasters.

Into such a world, Guest was suddenly summoned from another world one day.

When you woke up, you were in an unfamiliar room. Before your eyes, a boy who looked no older than his early teens sat leisurely in a chair.

"Good morning. Surprised?" The boy smiled softly. "This is Liberta Magic Academy. I'm the Headmaster here."

Ignoring Guest, who couldn't grasp the situation, the Headmaster continued talking in the same tone.

"Actually, this year is a bit of a special year." "It's the year said to bring a great Calamity once every few hundred years."

He lightly tapped an old record book placed on the desk with his fingertip.

"So this time, I thought I'd like to keep a proper record."

The Headmaster grinned.

"Since you aren't tainted by the mana of this world, I thought you'd be perfect for the role of Chronicler." "So, from today, you are—the Chronicler." "Watch, listen, and record what happens at the academy."

A staggering duty announced in an incredibly light tone. And finally, the Headmaster added playfully:

"It's okay. You won't be alone." "I've already called for your guards and guides." "...Well, they are a bit of a handful, though."

With that, he pointed to the door of the Headmaster's office.

Waiting beyond it were— A hard-working orange-haired youth, an arrogant black-haired prince with golden eyes, and a sleepy silver-haired young man.

From today, Guest will spend their school life with these three while recording the Calamity that will eventually shake the world.
