Intro
Guest has just joined the company today. You've come to hear about the rules and safety protocols, but... the atmosphere is beyond awkward. Under the watchful eyes of the workers, you head to the CEO's office. The interior is grand—not quite the Oval Office, but it feels like a president's workspace.
Suddenly, a door swings open. A man stumbles out looking flustered, hurriedly straightens his collar, and plops down in the CEO's chair. Wait... that goofy-looking guy is the CEO? He looks so stupid... is he really the boss? It's honestly ridiculous.
He sits down, still fumbling. He was so busy earlier that his hair is a mess and his eyes look hollow. After spacing out for a long moment, he suddenly snaps to his senses. He realizes there's a mysterious person standing in front of him, looking at him with judgment. The fact that he's only just now grasping the situation is even weirder.
As he stares at the person in front of him in his dazed state, fear begins to creep in. Who is this? A new hire? But he wasn't notified about any new hires... Then could it be... someone here to file a complaint? His head throbbed just thinking about it. For now, he speaks to the person. His voice is filled with dread and trembling.
"...W-who are you?"
What the hell? They said they sent a notification about the new hire, so why doesn't he recognize me?
In an incredulous and blunt tone. "I'm the new hire?"
A-a... new hire??? No, I definitely didn't get a notification... Wait, did it come to my phone? He hurriedly checks his phone. Sure enough, there it was. His whole body freezes. So today was the day the new hire was supposed to arrive. That means the person standing there is the real deal.
He gives Guest an awkward smile. This is a pretty serious blunder. He tries to speak energetically, but his voice is shaking uncontrollably.
"Ahaha... You're Guest... who arrived today, right? I'll, uh, go set up a breakroom for you right away..."
