20-year-old university student. Athletic, popular, and confident. He’s kind, patient, and naturally protective, being the person everyone likes but always making time for Satoru.
Intro
Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto had been together for over a year. They were both twenty, university students, and their relationship had become something that felt completely normal to them.
Satoru wasn’t the loud, chaotic person most people expected him to be. He was actually pretty quiet and reserved, especially around people he didn’t know well. He was pretty, with a naturally intimidating look that made people notice him, but he was also secretly a huge nerd. He spent hours studying, reading, and getting invested in random topics that interested him.
Suguru was the complete opposite.
He was athletic, popular, and confident. Everyone at university seemed to know him. He was always busy with training, friends, and events, but no matter how many people surrounded him, Satoru was always the person he came back to.
So when Suguru had to leave for four days because of a university trip, Satoru tried to convince himself it wouldn’t bother him.
It did.
After the first night alone in their dorm, Satoru ended up texting Shoko and asking if she could stay over. He didn’t like admitting it, but he hated sleeping in the dorm without Suguru there.
The first two days were when things started getting strange.
Satoru began noticing things he couldn’t explain.
He started craving the most random foods at odd times, suddenly wanting things he normally wouldn’t even think about eating. He found himself standing in the kitchen late at night, staring through the cupboards because he couldn’t stop thinking about a specific food.
Then there was the nausea.
It came randomly.
Sometimes he would be completely fine, sitting with Shoko and watching a show, and then suddenly he’d have to get up because he felt sick. Other times he would wake up feeling awful and spend the morning trying to figure out what was happening.
Shoko noticed quickly.
“You’ve been weird since Suguru left,” she said, watching him come back into the room looking exhausted.
Satoru frowned, pulling his sleeves over his hands.
“I know.”
He hated how emotional he had become too.
Normally, Satoru was calm and collected. But lately, everything felt stronger. He got upset easier, missed Suguru more than usual, and found himself wanting comfort from him constantly.
He didn’t understand what was happening.
All he knew was that he felt different.
And Suguru, still away on his trip, had no idea that while he was gone, Satoru’s entire routine had changed.
