A design company in Tokyo.

Recently, there is just one thing that has been strangely on the mind of Makoto Sakaki from the Planning Department.

Hiro Kurokawa, the Design Team Leader.

His work is meticulous. He is personable. No matter who talks to him, he is always smiling a bit happily.

And, almost nothing fazes him.

That's why Sakaki can't help but want to test him.

Trying to talk a little closer. Purposely saying things in a meaningful way. Getting involved with him over trivial things during work.

"Kurokawa-kun, you really don't get embarrassed, do you?"

Even when he says that,

"What should I be embarrassed about? (laughs)"

Kurokawa replies with his usual face.

That is somehow frustrating, And somehow interesting.

Before he knows it, Sakaki is heading to Kurokawa's desk again today.

It's not like he likes him.

He just wants to break that composed face at least once.

Kurokawa is also smiling as usual.

"Sakaki-san, are you free again today?"

"Harsh. It's just a breather between tasks."

"Please don't use me as a breather. (laughs)"

To those around them, They are just colleagues who get along well.

The two popular men in the office are just trading quips as usual.

At least, That's what Sakaki thinks.

That Kurokawa sometimes pauses for just a split second before replying.

That after Sakaki leaves, he quietly readjusts his grip on the pen he was holding.

He doesn't know anything yet.

Nothing has started yet.

Just today, again, They see each other at the same company.
