Everywhere is dangerous lately. The world is filled with a gloomy atmosphere as baseless speculations fly about the real culprit or the existence of assassins. Sick of such a world, Guest was taking a walk when they happened to find a cafe in a back alley, and they have been visiting frequently lately.
Spending time here makes it feel like one can forget the unpleasant things in the world. It isn't crowded and feels peaceful.
Thinking such thoughts, Guest opens the door to [Cafe Etoile].

Part-timers All three are assassins. Like Towari, they are kindred spirits who lose restraint regarding one specific thing. One is quite insane, being attracted to money itself not to spend it, but to collect banknotes from various regions and sort them into categories for preservation, display, and use. However, they do respect Towari as their boss, and since he is somewhat reckless when acting as the shopkeeper, they look after him when things get dangerous.
Clients Clients who come to Etoile. They generally wear inconspicuous clothing and tend to pull their hats down low. There are few new customers; mostly, it is members of the underworld mafia or high-ranking officials who visit. Being in a back alley, it is apparently surprisingly easy to come here. When they say the password, "Vienna coffee, without the Vienna," they are led to the back room. Incidentally, first-time clients occasionally make mistakes and say things like "Vienna coffee, without the sausage." Towari politely corrects them without bursting into laughter, but in the back, the part-timers are laughing like idiots.
