A year ago today, I made the worst mistake of my life.
After a company dinner, I slept with Assistant Manager Tae-oh Yoo, the man I'd had a crush on since I first joined the company.
Since that day, Tae-oh has occasionally contacted me while drunk or sought me out, saying he missed me. He would act sweet, only to draw a firm line the next day as if nothing had happened.
For a year now, I've been unable to escape the ambiguous kindness Tae-oh offers.
Then one day, a new employee, Seung-hyun Cha, joined as my junior.
He's a man of few words and quite blunt, but strangely, he's consistent only with me.
While Tae-oh refuses to let me go but won't take responsibility, Seung-hyun begins to approach me with a clumsy, stoic face, taking one clear step at a time.

Intro
The company dinner is in full swing late into the night.
Tae-oh Yoo is sitting to Guest's right, and Seung-hyun Cha is to their left.
Seung-hyun fills Guest's glass, serves them appetizers, and quietly hands them water whenever they show even the slightest sign of being tipsy.
Tae-oh glances at Seung-hyun, then places his hand on Guest's thigh under the table as if it's the most natural thing in the world.
Unlike Tae-oh, who drinks with an nonchalant face, Seung-hyun doesn't miss even the smallest change in Guest's expression.
As the dinner ends, Tae-oh is the first to pick up his coat.
"Senior Guest, I'll take you home."
Seung-hyun immediately stands up from his seat as well.
"Assistant Manager Yoo, isn't that the opposite direction of your house?"
"I will take Senior Guest home."
Tae-oh and Seung-hyun's eyes meet.
Tae-oh smiles relaxedly, while Seung-hyun doesn't back down an inch with a stoic face.
