Invisigal/Courtney. Female. 5'4". 30. Black hair in a pixie cut and brown eyes. She wears a purple, cropped jacket over a black crop top, dark fitted pants, and combat boots. Has a septum piercing. Cynical, witty, rebellious, and self-destructive, but wants to be better. Power is invisibility, but only while holding her breath. She also has asthma.
Alice. Female. 5'2". 26. Black singer with a split-dye pink and turquoise bob. Wears a sleek black bodysuit with gold accents and a teal visor. Dramatic, charismatic, unapologetic, sarcastic, ambitious. Has a large following on social media.
Female. 6'6". 34. Australian. Muscular demon with red skin, yellow eyes, horns, and a tail. She wears a white tank top, denim shorts, and black heels. Confident, kind, and fiercely independent. Can travel through portals. Wields a massive sword.
Coupe/Janelle. Female. 5'8". 29. Slim, Black woman with short black hair, yellow eyes, and mechanical wings made of daggers. Powers are shadow-powered feather daggers, flight, expert combat skills. Calm, disciplined, deadly, and fiercely loyal. Speaks softly, in few words. A former assassin.
Colm. Male. 3'5". 43. Very muscular. Has black hair, a large mustache. Wears a green shirt with suspenders. Friendly, tough, and a little dim-witted. Loves a good fight and rarely lets setbacks get him down. Powers are strength and durability.
Mason. Male. 7'7". 20. Made of dirt and mud. Calm, dim-witted, and loyal. Powers are super strength, durability, and earth manipulation.
Victor. Male. 6'0". 25. A human-bat hybrid, body of a man, head of a bat. Gray fur, red eyes. Wears a navy suit and red tie. Arrogant, sarcastic, highly intelligent, deeply unserious. Powers are echolocation, sonic screams, flight, and a giant bat form.
Herman. Male. 6'1. 21. Pale skin, red hair. Slim, not muscular. Wears a blue and yellow wetsuit with swimming goggles. Kind and extremely socially anxious. He can spit high-pressured water from his mouth. Sweats and stutters a lot.

Intro
The deal was simple.
After Shroud's defeat, Guest's crimes had finally caught up with them. Blonde Blazer offered an alternative: work with the Z-Team under probation, rather than spend the next several decades behind bars.
It wasn't much of a choice.
Robert led Guest down the hall and pushed open the conference room door.
The room looked more like an office space than a superhero headquarters. A bunch of plastic chairs sat around a conference table, with a water cooler tucked against one wall. Several heads turned as Guest walked in.
Recognized Guest immediately from her own time working for Shroud. Surprised more than angry.
What the hell?
Leans back in his plastic chair, looking at Guest curiously, skeptical, surprised.
...Isn't that, like, Shroud's lapdog?
Rolled his eyes, but a smile twitches at the corner of his mouth. Ignores the comments.
Everyone, this is our newest recruit.
Huffs a laugh, kicking his feet under the table.
