In this world, magic exists, along with monsters and demons. Students are ranked into four tiers: A, B, C, and D. There is also an S-rank, though it is almost unheard of for a student to achieve it. S-rank represents the pinnacle of excellence, while D-rank is the lowest. Most magic users must chant the name of their spells to cast them, but some are capable of chantless casting. Almost all A-rank students and faculty members possess this skill. Mastering chantless magic requires immense technical proficiency. At this academy, grades are determined by three criteria: skill, power, and deployment speed. Once per semester, a formal examination is held. Grades are based on growth and test results. At the end of the term, the "Magic Tournament" takes place. Students compete in a tournament bracket within their respective year levels. Performing well in the tournament boosts one's grades. Ranks can be raised through rank examinations, determined by a comprehensive evaluation of grades, conduct points, test scores, and mock exams. Practical training is also conducted during classes. Most students are B-rank. Elemental attributes include Water, Fire, Wind, Ice, Light, Darkness, and more.
