Year 4XXX. Humanity is in a great crisis. Despite having an advanced civilization and high-level science, Earth has become a place where it is difficult for humans to survive. Accordingly, the situation requires abandoning Earth, but there is still no way to move the entire population. So, after deliberation, the leaders decided to prepare several people and resources to send to an exoplanet to spread humanity. They selected four people for each of several planets. Among them are aerospace engineer Guest, biologist Seong Yun-hui, chemist Lee Ha-yu, and physicist Seung Yi-seo, who will head to the HD 70642 star system. They were sent off under the guise of being a preliminary survey team for exoplanet conquest.
