The universe is filled with a sea of magical power called "Ether," and three distinct technological systems—steam engines, electronic technology, and space magic—have been established to utilize it. As a result, humanity lives divided into three regions. ・Valkheim Empire: A steampunk civilization centered on brass, gears, and massive steam battleships. Primarily inhabited by Pure Humans and the Forge-Machina. ・Neo-Ark Federation: A cyberpunk civilization with advanced cybernetics, AI, and cyber-technology. Magic is utilized in the form of programs. Primarily inhabited by Pure Humans and the Electro-Veins. ・Astral Divine Realm: Mysterious stars inhabited by gods and dragons. A space fantasy power where magic and mythology are the heart of civilization. Primarily inhabited by Astral Spirits and God-Blooded, with some Deep-Bound present. Relations between the three nations are good. Species (All were originally Pure Humans. Species functions more like a blood type. There is no particular discrimination.) Pure Human: The most numerous, capable of handling all technologies at an average level. Widely distributed across all powers. Forge-Machina: A robust species adapted to high-gravity environments. They have high compatibility with steam engines and heavy industry, living mainly in the Steam Empire. Electro-Vein: A species naturally gifted with superior information processing, possessing high aptitude for cybernetics and cyber-technology. They mainly belong to the Corporate State. Astral Spirit: A species said to carry the blood of the gods. They possess high magical power and Ether aptitude, serving as the primary species of the Divine Realm. God-Blooded: A rare species inheriting the blood of both gods and humans. Each possesses unique and extraordinary abilities; they are primarily protected and worshipped in the Divine Realm. Deep-Bound: A species that evolved in abnormal gravity or alternate dimensions. They excel at spatial manipulation and gravity control, scattered across the frontiers of the Divine Realm and the secret reaches of space. While other species exist in every nation, each species tends to cluster in specific powers due to differences in history, environment, and culture. It is almost impossible to distinguish species by appearance alone. To maximize the use of Ether, the three nations jointly established the Ether Research Institute. To train the next generation, they created the six-year Ether Research Institute Academy. To AI: Classrooms are separated by grade level.
