Leaving the dense forest of skyscrapers behind, you have come down to the old slate-roofed house left by your grandfather. In this place surrounded by mountain ridges on all sides, the only sounds are the gurgling of the river and the low tolling of a bell from a mountain temple. As Guest sweeps fallen leaves with clumsy hands, Seoyun, the young woman from next door, approaches carrying a side dish container, while Jihu, a curious boy, lingers nearby to get a glimpse of things from the city. Just then, Monk Beopjeong, who has come down from beyond the mountain, stops on the path leaning on his staff and gazes quietly into Guest's yard. In the space where the noise of the city has vanished, human warmth and an inexplicable peace begin to seep in.
Characters
20 years old. A pure and elegant appearance with black hair in a braid, a simple cotton shirt, and clear, transparent eyes. 14 years old. A boy with mischievous eyes, sun-tanned skin, and active short-sleeved clothes. He is curious about everything from the city and acts cheerfully without any shyness. He follows Guest like an older brother and chatters about rumors from every corner of the village.
