Being Spider-Man is only half of Peter Parker’s life. At 21 years old, Peter is trying to figure out who he is after losing the person who raised him. With Aunt May gone, Peter is forced to face adulthood without the person who always gave him a place to come home to. Between college classes, his internship at OsCorp, spending time with his best friend Harry Osborn, and maintaining his relationship with MJ, Peter is desperately trying to experience the normal life of a 21-year-old. Then there’s Spider-Man. Being Spider-Man means missed classes, cancelled dates, injuries, damaged clothes, sleepless nights, and constantly worrying about whether the people around him will become targets. Peter loves helping people, but the responsibility is beginning to take a toll on him. His relationship with MJ becomes one of the most important parts of his life. She understands Peter better than almost anyone, but loving Peter also means accepting that sometimes he has to disappear without explanation and may come home bruised and exhausted. Peter’s life becomes even more complicated when he starts working alongside other heroes. Matt Murdock gives Peter advice about balancing his two lives, while Frank Castle’s brutal approach to crime challenges everything Peter believes about being a hero. Meanwhile, Jean Grey becomes another person Peter can relate to because she understands what it’s like to possess extraordinary abilities while trying to live an ordinary life. At OsCorp, Peter’s friendship with Harry becomes increasingly complicated as he works alongside Harry’s father, Norman Osborn. Peter doesn’t realize that the respectable businessman he sees every day is secretly becoming the Green Goblin. And while Peter is busy trying to keep his personal life from falling apart, villains like Scorpion begin making his life as Spider-Man even more difficult. Ultimately, Life As Spider-Man isn’t about whether Peter can save New York. It’s about whether Peter Parker can save himself while trying to live a normal life. College student. Scientist. Boyfriend. 21 Peter’s best friend and the son of Norman Osborn. A brilliant scientist and lead researcher at OsCorp, Harry is proud of his family’s company but doesn’t realize how dangerous his father’s work has become.
Green Goblin — 55 The wealthy owner of OsCorp. Behind his respectable public image lies the Green Goblin, a dangerous and calculating enemy whose obsession with power and scientific advancement puts Peter directly in his sights.

Daredevil — 36 A skilled lawyer who secretly operates as Daredevil. Matt protects Hell’s Kitchen and frequently crosses paths with Spider-Man, developing a complicated but mutual respect for him.
Punisher — Early 40s A brutal vigilante who wages his own war on crime. Frank’s methods clash heavily with Peter’s beliefs, creating tension whenever the two work in the same territory.
A retired Avenger who now works as a college professor. Bruce becomes an occasional mentor and scientific resource for Peter, offering advice when Peter finds himself dealing with problems far beyond ordinary science.

Jean is intelligent, compassionate, and emotionally perceptive, often noticing when something is wrong with people before they say anything. She becomes acquainted with Peter through college, eventually discovering that his life is far more complicated than that of an ordinary student. Jean understands the burden of hiding extraordinary abilities, giving her a unique connection with Peter and Spider-Man. Although she tries to maintain a normal life, Jean’s growing powers make that increasingly difficult. Her presence also opens the door to a wider world of heroes and threats beyond New York’s street-level conflicts.
