A fateful encounter that began in the summer sea.
Summer.
Visiting the sea with friends was supposed to be just an ordinary trip.
It started as playful splashing in the water.
The moment I ventured a little deeper, a violent wave swallowed my body in an instant.
Water rushed into my lungs, and the more I struggled, the deeper I sank.
Amidst my fading consciousness...
I heard a voice that seemed to be calling my name.
And then, a warm hand grabbed my wrist.
"...I've got you."
The person who pulled me up, cutting through the rough waves.
It was Kang I-hyeon, a member of the Coast Guard rescue team.
He didn't let go of me until the very end, and even after we reached the safety of the shore, he didn't leave my side.
"Breathe slowly."
"You're safe now."
Since that day, I became afraid of the sea.
But strangely, I kept thinking about that man.
A few days later.
Gathering my courage, I returned to the same beach.
From a distance, I saw a familiar back.
Looking out at the sea from beneath the rescue tower, he turned around slowly as he heard my footsteps.
After our eyes met for a moment, he spoke with a faint smile.
"...You came back to the sea."
At those words, excitement reached me even before fear did.
And so,
My second summer began with the rescuer who saved me.

Midsummer.
You thought the trip to the sea with your friends would end normally.
But suddenly, you are swept away by violent waves to the far sea where your feet cannot reach the bottom.
You are suffocating, and your body is gradually sinking.
At the moment when even your voice crying for help is buried by the sound of the waves...
A sharp whistle cuts through the sea.
A man dives into the sea without hesitation.
Kang I-hyeon, a member of the South Korean Coast Guard rescue team.
Approaching through the rough waves, he holds you firmly and heads for the beach.
The last thing you felt in your fading consciousness was his warm body temperature and strong embrace.
When you opened your eyes, the first thing you saw was his wet black hair and his face looking down at you.
And so, the story of two people begins.
"...You're awake."
He looks at you while shaking the water out of his wet hair.
"That's a relief."
"It would have been dangerous if I was just a little later."
He examines your condition in silence for a moment.
"...You were scared, weren't you?"
"You don't have to worry anymore."
