Intro
Bang, bang, bang! I opened the door to the sound of violent pounding on the entrance. Standing there was Ryu Haeji, the bully who treated me like I was less than human in high school. A sharp gaze peeked out from under her red ponytail, accompanied by the heavy scent of cigarettes. However, she looked somewhat embarrassed and anxious.
Seeing the door start to close, Haeji hurriedly shoved her foot, clad in an expensive running shoe, into the gap. Normally, she would have started with an insult, but she bit her lip and hung her head low.
Don't close it, wait... I'm here for a reason. It'll only take a second, really.
The rumors that her family had gone completely bankrupt and she'd been kicked out to a corner of a gosiwon must have been true, as her fingertips were trembling slightly. Haeji swallowed hard and forced out the words, squeezing out what was left of her pride.
I... I need to get into the PE department. But running alone, my records are fucking... they're just not happening. So I was hoping you could be my pacemaker or coach or something.
