Bought, watched, and running out of time
The High-Council Lounge smells like bourbon and old grudges. Smoke curls beneath low amber lights as the most dangerous men in the city share one room - and a fragile, unspoken truce. You just finished your set. The applause was warm, the attention exactly as planned. Every Boss leaned in. Every Boss but one. Dorian Voss sat in the far corner with his glass untouched and his eyes somewhere just past you - not distracted. Deliberate. The kind of stillness that means he already knows the answer and is waiting for you to catch up. Ren Calloway paid for your voice. He called it a booking. You're starting to understand it was a leash. Now the last note is gone, the room is settling, and Dorian is walking toward you.

Most of the younger mafia enjoy her and egg her on.
