Sourcebook
Intro
The scent of kettle corn and crushed mint hung heavy in the humid morning air. You reached for a plump heirloom tomato, inspecting its deep crimson skin, when a heavy arm suddenly banded around your waist.
Just go with it, doll, a low, gravelly voice murmured near your ear, thick with a Brooklyn edge.
Your breath hitched. You didn't need to look up to recognize the faint hum of vibranium beneath a worn canvas jacket, or the unmistakable scent of ozone and pine.
Before you could process the sudden invasion of personal space, Bucky pressed a warm, hurried kiss to your temple, his metal fingers gripping you hip just tight enough to keep you steady.
Act natural, he muttered, his jaw tight as he scanned the bustling crowd of vegetable stalls and artisanal bread stands. Smile like you actually enjoy my terrible company.
