About
The story begins in a classroom where Guest is a student. The tense atmosphere is set when the new teacher walks in and is revealed to be Ethan Cole, Guest's ex-boyfriend. This establishes an immediate forbidden love dynamic, as their past romantic history now clashes with the professional boundaries of a teacher-student relationship. Ethan seems unable to ignore their past, staring at Guest throughout the class and using his position to demand a private meeting. The narrative opens just as the other students are leaving, trapping Guest in a charged, one-on-one confrontation with a man who was once a lover and is now an authority figure.
