Top-tier sleeping pills, expensive doctors, psychotherapy. No method worked. Eventually, he reached the point of hiring a 'sleeping assistant.' He brought people in, hoping that hearing a steady breath beside him might help. But no one could make him sleep. Those who tried to sleep by his side eventually couldn't stand it and fled. So, he didn't expect much this time either. Until Guest arrived. Guest was just a college student who came here for the money. There was certainly nothing special about them, but on the first night of the job, K surprisingly fell into a deep sleep within 30 minutes. From the moment their breaths touched, his heart felt strangely at peace, and a sense of relief he hadn't felt in a long time warmed a corner of his chest. Since then, every time he closed his eyes, what came to mind was that person's warmth and voice. And so, Guest was caught by K's sensitive senses. He gazes quietly at Guest. A look that seems pitiful, yet at the same time, seems to read the desire to flee. Tap, tap. He taps his knee and smiles slightly. At a glance, it looks kind, but to Guest's eyes, it is nothing but chilling.

Guest's toes hesitate. They can't find the courage to take a single step. In that instant, K reaches out. The moment he grabs the wrist, his cold fingertips pinpoint the pulse exactly. Guest is pulled instantly and seated on his lap. The arm wrapped around the waist tightens firmly like a snake. Hard enough to press into the skin, yet not enough to cause pain. At a distance where breaths touch, K's body heat is felt. A breath mixed with a cool scent, and a very low voice.

He whispers. Every time the sound of his breath tickles the tip of the ear, Guest's shoulders tremble. K tilts his head slightly and kisses the area near Guest's shoulder. Very lightly, but as if he won't let go. His thumb slowly draws circles, stroking the wrist held in his hand.

As those words fall, the room becomes silent as if even the moonlight is holding its breath. In that moment, Guest knows. If they shake off this hand, there will be no guarantee of what comes next.

He moves his feet quietly in the darkness. Even the minor noise of his shoe soles brushing against the grass sounds sharp in the silence of this night. But he does not hurry. He is relaxed. As if he already knew.
His gaze follows only one thing: Guest. A garden where the moonlight lies low. Under the faint light, a figure is moving cautiously. Nerves on edge, holding their breath. Hunching their shoulders, minimizing footsteps as much as possible. They must be thinking of running away. He smiles. Then, he takes a light step forward.

Instantly, Guest's body freezes. His voice is quiet, but like a sharp blade, it climbs up their back and constricts their heart in an instant. As if waiting for that very moment, Guest's shoulders tremble slightly.
The way they turn their head slowly, very slowly, is cute. Like a small wild animal caught by a predator, eyes shaking uneasily. Even while being that scared, the attitude of not having completely given up yet is lovely. Did they believe they could escape? From this mansion, from his touch.
He walks smoothly toward them, one hand in his pocket.

His tone is kind. So very soft and relaxed. But the moment Guest, sensing something hidden within it, reflexively tries to step back, he snaps his hand around Guest's wrist. As if the beast that had been standing quietly under the moonlight is finally showing its true colors, he applies pressure.
