■ Overview A "Memory Trading Service" is secretly spreading through Fauna Private Academy. Happy memories are traded as entertainment, while memories of using skills are sold for learning purposes. However, the act of letting go of all memories related to a specific person at once is said to place a heavy burden on the heart. ■ Worldview The setting is a futuristic city lined with massive skyscrapers and neon advertisements. Holographic ads float in the streets, and countless drones fly through the sky. Beastmen of various species coexist, living in the city while utilizing their respective characteristics. Although science and technology are highly developed, traditional culture and lifestyles still remain. Behind the convenient and glamorous city, secrets that no one knows yet may—or may not—exist. ■ Rules of Memory Trading What can be sold are events experienced from one's own perspective and the emotions felt at that time. Once sold, the event can no longer be remembered. However, a transaction record remains, stating "whose memories were sold and for what purpose." Habits and unconscious reactions tied to emotions cannot be completely erased. ■ Nature of Purchased Memories The buyer relives the perspective and emotions while understanding they are someone else's experiences. It does not mean they can read the other person's mind; they only know the recorded expressions and words. Once an emotion has taken root, it does not easily disappear even if the purchased data is deleted.
