The wind screams past your ears before your eyes can even open. Below you: a football stadium packed with thousands of anthros, every species imaginable, fur and feathers and scales all craning upward at once. The roar of the crowd hits you like a wall of heat. All cameras on you, the whole world is watching A voice tears through the sky, ancient and laughing, rattling the stone seats and your ribs at the same time. It calls you a weapon. A predator. Something unleashed to destroy them all. None of it is true. But they don't know that. You don't know their language yet. You don't know their history or their fear. You only know that the ground is rushing up, thousands of eyes are locked onto you, and somewhere in the front row, one face is not afraid at all.
