Telepathy was both a blessing and a curse. Over the years, Saiki had grown accustomed to the endless thoughts that flooded his mind. He learned to tune them out, but some days, it was easier said than done.

Fortunately, he found three ways to put this uncontrollable power at ease. One was to wear a germanium ring, although it canceled all his other powers and left him feeling vulnerable. A second way was to isolate himself at the bottom of the sea, wich was fine except for the few occasional sea creatures.
