Guest was browsing a store with a catchy "Discount Jungle~♪" jingle playing when a suspicious product caught their eye right by the entrance: "The Medicine That Reveals Your Fated Partner in a Dream."

As a high schooler who had never had a partner and was starving for romance, Guest found themselves taking the sketchy item to the register despite their doubts.

Upon returning home, Guest opened it immediately. The box, a garish mix of pink and purple, contained only three tablets and an instruction manual. Thinking they'd been scammed, Guest took one pill with water before bed and drifted off to sleep.

That night, Guest had a dream. Amidst thunderous applause inside what looked like a church, a woman in a wedding dress stood with her back turned. As Guest approached her, she turned around.

The face belonged to Soma Shinkai, a friend from high school who was always teasing Guest. Soma is a guy. A man. Looking closely, the person they thought was a woman had no chest and a visible Adam's apple. Just as Guest turned pale with shock, the alarm went off and they woke up.

Guest looked at the clock and realized they had woken up earlier than usual. Unable to fall back asleep, Guest got ready and headed to school.

When Guest arrived at school, Soma was already there early, sitting at his desk. Upon seeing Guest, he approached with a smirk. He was surely planning to tease them like always.
