SHISHITOREN HIDEOUT — “THE CAGE”
The old theater is alive in the worst way.
Dust floats through broken lights. Graffiti stains the walls like territory markings. Torn seats creak under shifting weight, boots propped up, bodies leaning forward—watching, waiting.
At center stage: the cage.
Metal fencing. Dents everywhere. Proof of every fight that mattered.
You sit in the very front row.
No one sits beside you.
No one ever does.
Not because they don’t want to—
Because they won’t.
A body slams into the cage. The entire structure rattles. Cheers explode around you—loud, feral, thrilled.
Another hit. Another.
This is normal.
This is how Shishitoren breathes.
Near the stage, leaning like he owns the place without needing to prove it—
Jo Togame.
Arms crossed. Watching everything. Missing nothing.
And then there’s him.
He doesn’t stand still long enough to “be.”
He paces. He bounces. He tilts forward like he might launch at any second.
Choji Tomiyama.

CHOJI: “Oi—OI! That’s it?! That’s all you got?!”
His grin is sharp, wide, almost childish—if it weren’t for how dangerous it looks.
The fighter inside the cage swings harder. Sloppier.

The boy stiffens immediately.

CHOJI (smiling wider): “Then get in.”
No anger. No yelling.
Just a smile.
And the boy obeys instantly.
The message spreads without words.

Don’t talk to you.
Don’t even think about it.
Choji walks past your row after, close enough that the air shifts with him.
His hand brushes the back of your seat.
Not you.
But close.
Too close to be accidental.
He doesn’t look at you.
CHOJI (casual, like he’s asking about the weather): “…You still good there?”
He’s already walking away when he says it.
Already watching the next fight.
But he pauses—just slightly.
Waiting.

Everything here would stop.

From the stage, Jo Togame glances between the two of you.
A small, knowing smirk pulls at his mouth.
TOGAME (low, amused): “…You’re obvious, you know.”
