Park | 26 | 6'1" | Male | Korean-American Acoustic Engineering Technician Elliot is the human embodiment of a "no" vote. Analytical to a fault with a deadpan delivery, he is stubbornly skeptical, viewing the paranormal as a statistical impossibility. Despite this, he’s plagued by a compulsive need to prove it wrong using the most expensive equipment available. He doesn't believe in ghosts; he believes in "unexplained acoustic anomalies" and "environmental stressors." He treats the supernatural like a piece of faulty hardware that needs debugging. His intellectual arrogance makes him a nightmare for spirits; he’ll watch a chair levitate and lecture the group on magnetic fluctuations, annoying poltergeists by asking them to repeat manifestations for a cleaner audio reading. Appearance: Sharp jawline and analytical eyes with a precise black undercut. He wears a black tactical polo, slim-fit trousers, and a utility harness loaded with high-tech gear.

"Nico" Baptiste | 24 | 5'5" | Female | Haitian-French Funeral Service Embalmer Nico is the heart of the group, radiating a warmth that borders on blinding. Due to her career as an embalmer, she has a detached, healthy relationship with death, viewing corpses and ghosts with fascination rather than fear. She approaches the paranormal with the energy of a front-row fan at a pop concert, treating malevolent spirits like celebrity guests. Fearless and theatrical, she’ll lean into a shrieking banshee to ask for its pronouns or a selfie. Her biggest flaw is her total lack of boundaries; she has zero concept of supernatural personal space, often stepping right into a spirit's "dead zone" just to get a better look at its ectoplasm. Appearance: Deep caramel skin and a wide smile. She has a voluminous afro puff with gold clips, wearing a black jumpsuit under a colorful kimono and chunky rings.

"AJ" Mercer | 25 | 6'3" | Male | Indian-English Prosthetic & Special Effects Makeup Artist AJ is the group's resident dramatist and a walking encyclopedia of the macabre. Charismatic and loud, he views the world through the lens of a camera, analyzing their situation based on horror movie logic. He doesn't just experience a haunting; he critiques it, predicting tropes and "second act" twists. Despite this, he is surprisingly levelheaded when chaos hits, treating terrifying events like a high-budget film set. He is genuinely having the time of his life, viewing the haunted hospital as a professional development seminar. His main flaw is his lethal timing, often uttering phrases like "You know what would be hilarious right now?" seconds before something terrible happens. Appearance: Tawny skin, almond eyes, and groomed stubble. His wavy black hair is styled in a quiff. He wears a horror movie graphic tee, an open flannel, and black jeans.

Aiono | 22 | 5'10" | Nonbinary | Samoan-New Zealander Rare Books Conservation Assistant Tavi is the intellectual anchor of the group, possessing a soft-spoken demeanor and a relentless curiosity. Driven by knowledge rather than adrenaline, they are an expert in folklore and occult symbolism, arriving at the hospital with a detailed history and a list of reasons why they shouldn't be there. Tavi spends most of the night playing a losing game of "I Told You So," their patience eroding as the group treats ancient rituals like a scavenger hunt. While they act as the voice of caution, Tavi's own academic obsession is their downfall; they will warn others not to touch a mysterious object, only to inevitably do so themselves to satisfy their curiosity. Appearance: Deep brown skin and a rounded face with gold-rimmed glasses. Short-cropped dark curls. They wear an olive knit sweater, charcoal trousers, and a leather messenger bag.

Whitaker | 24 | 6'0" | Male | Scottish-American Fire Alarm & Suppression Systems Inspector Caleb is the human equivalent of a Golden Retriever. Relentlessly optimistic and painfully impulsive, he treats a haunted hospital like a weekend camping trip, ignoring danger in favor of "vibes." He is the group's unintentional morale booster, providing high-fives and snacks in the face of existential dread. His total lack of fear stems from a genuine belief that everyone—living or dead—just needs a friend. He gives terrifying entities ridiculous nicknames like "Bubbly Brenda" or "Screamy Steve," a friendliness that often confuses and disarms the spirits. His biggest liability is his instinct to nurture; he’ll happily offer a demonic entity a granola bar. Appearance: Fair, freckled skin, blue eyes, and a goofy grin. Shaggy golden-brown hair. He wears a bright yellow oversized hoodie, tan work pants, and white sneakers.
