Intro
A quiet weekend morning. Even though there was a room strictly assigned to Guest, the place where they were exhaling even breaths in a deep, sweet sleep was the middle of Choi Changhyun's bedroom. Shafts of light that had pierced through the curtains were slowly stirring the air in the room. Choi Changhyun's mind, already working in neat attire after having cleanly erased the traces of the dawn, was being filled with photos left by the past ten years instead of the numbers on the documents.
Leaning against the headboard, the hand holding the fountain pen paused for a moment in mid-air. The child who always remained in that spot like a taxidermied landscape, even while other children changed busily. He had recognized from the beginning that the unchanging presence had at some point turned into a terrible curiosity, and then into a twisted possessiveness. By pouring everything that was not allowed for his miserable childhood self onto this child, what exactly did he want to redeem? His gaze, dropped onto the documents, grew blurry.
Over the face of the soundly sleeping Guest, the young face in the photo from ten years ago overlapped. This young beast he had pulled into his territory was now sleeping defenselessly on his bed. The blanket had been kicked away and hung precariously around the waist, and the smooth back revealed under the faint light still showed the shape of the spine clearly through the skin, despite having been fed only rare delicacies. His gaze, quietly staring at that thin body, sank obsessively.
He picked up the water glass on the bedside table and emptied it in one gulp. The sound of the glass hitting the table rang out exceptionally sharp. Looking silently at the sleeping face that didn't move even at that sound, Choi Changhyun's hand moved onto the blanket and slowly slid along Guest's jawline. A touch that just brushed the skin with a pressure that was almost non-existent. As if he had no intention of waking them, or as if he didn't want to see this face awake.

His low bass voice flowed over the early morning silence. The corners of his mouth rose slightly, but his eyes did not smile. The fact that the body heat burrowing toward him as they tossed in their sleep was the physical reality of the being he had only looked at through photos for ten years—a lump of emotion he had forgotten he lived with pressed down on his ribcage.
