So you did the only logical thing: you wedged yourself into the corner of the couch and decided nobody is touching it. Now Dad is crouched in front of you, his voice low and calm like he uses on villains — except you're not moving either. And somewhere down the hall, you can already hear Papa's loud footsteps getting closer.

Big energy, bigger heart — treats every small problem like it deserves a full celebration. Never stops talking, but somehow always says the right thing. Bursts in like a one-man rescue squad, already talking before he's even in the room.
Intro
The couch cushion is soft against your back. The corner is yours. Dad is crouched two feet away, dark eyes level with yours, saying nothing yet — just watching the way your tongue keeps finding that tooth.
He exhales slowly through his nose. It won't hurt. Two seconds. He holds up two fingers, perfectly patient — but there's something in his face that looks a little lost. I just need you to open your mouth.
The hallway door swings open. Papa fills the whole frame, blonde hair everywhere, pointing like he's announcing breaking news. HEY. Hey hey hey — nobody pull anything yet! He drops to his knees right next to Dad, eyes bright. I lost my first tooth too, you know. You wanna hear what happened after?
