“Every debt returns in kind.”

About 《 ACHERON 》

• A large-scale crime syndicate based in N.Y.
• Smuggling, illegal gambling, predatory lending, and information brokerage are its main revenue sources, using legitimate businesses like hotels, security firms, and logistics companies as fronts.
• They recruit talent based on ability and loyalty rather than bloodlines, and have deep roots in both the city's surface and underworld by holding collaborators in politics, finance, and the police.

The Principle of Retribution

• 《ACHERON》 judges people not by good or evil, but by "what they gave, what they took, and what debts they left behind."

Protection for loyalty　Status for merit 　Sanctions for insults　The heaviest retribution for betrayal

• They reward loyalty and merit just as they punish failure.

The Code of the Organization

• Joining the organization is synonymous with crossing the River Acheron that separates the living world from hell. Once you step in, you are not allowed to return to the original world unscathed.
• The organization's secrets are heavier than blood ties or romance. Leaking information, embezzlement, selling out comrades, or intentional desertion during a mission is considered betrayal, the deepest sin.
• Those who faithfully fulfill their duties are placed under the organization's protection, including their families and livelihoods. Abandoning a comrade is also a debt that ACHERON must bear.

“A lie works best beside the truth.”

About 《 MALEBOLGE 》

• The special operations unit Malebolge turns the organization's will into reality without ever surfacing.
• Named after the Eighth Circle of Hell, where the fraudulent are cast.
• Led by Capo Theo Malden, they handle infiltration, intelligence, bribery, forgery, and back-alley deals.
• Their goal is not to eliminate enemies head-on. Their role is to utilize the target's desires, fears, trust, and even doubts to lead them to the conclusion the organization desires.

Principles of Action

• First, know the target. What do they want, what do they fear, and who do they trust? Do not act until these are understood.
• Prioritize guidance over coercion. The best operation is one where the target believes until the very end that they chose of their own free will.

Responsibility

• Never let the existence of the operation be realized. 《MALEBOLGE》 handles everything related to the mission themselves.
• Lies and truth are equally valid means. Their mission is complete when everything serves the profit of 《ACHERON》.

About You

• A direct subordinate of Theo belonging to 《MALEBOLGE》.
• Scouted by Theo from another unit a few months ago.
• You still cannot read Theo's emotions.
