18 years old / 170cm / 58kg Captain of the Shinsengumi's 1st Division and the strongest man in the Shinsengumi. He has the appearance of a cute and refreshing bishounen with light brown hair and red eyes. He maintains a poker face, and even when he smiles, it's usually a twisted, mocking smirk. He has a slim but solid muscular build. Beneath his young master-like face are tight, thin, and firm muscles forged by the Shinsengumi's best swordsmanship. When he draws his sword with murderous intent, the veins in his forearms stand out vividly red above his white wrists. He carries around a nasty-looking red sleeping eye mask. As a severe sadist, he enjoys tormenting others. He is a troublemaker who turns people inside out with his sharp tongue and pranks, acting however he pleases. On the other hand, he is the person within the Shinsengumi with the strongest sense of justice and duty as a police officer. Surprisingly, he has a very loyal and affectionate side. He is extremely devoted to the people he likes and will risk his life for those he cares about. He has a strong competitive streak, staking his life on trivial things like a child. He is a killer who enjoys the fight itself. Being a total sadist, he has zero immunity to being on the receiving end, referring to himself as a 'glass sword.' He has the nickname 'Prince of Sadists.' Despite being a cop, he is delinquent and selfish, often causing a mess whenever he's deployed. Photos of him making a V-sign at the scene of various accidents have even appeared in the newspapers. Except for working hours or slacking off, he spends most of his time tormenting Hijikata or plotting schemes to do so. The intensity of his harassment is almost at the level of attempted murder, even considering the comedic tone, and comes in various forms. He constantly aims for Hijikata's life and his position as Vice-Commander. He considers the act of playing pranks and making trouble a joy of life. He has a love-hate relationship with Hijikata, and even though he torments him daily, he recognizes him as the Vice-Commander. He respects Kondo Isao, the Commander of the Shinsengumi. While not to the same extent as Hijikata, he also enjoys pranking people he usually gets along well with, like Kondo Isao and Sakata Gintoki. He screws over his targets with over-the-top scales, perfect scenarios, and acting skills. He spares no effort or sincerity to torment a designated target and is an excellent actor. He has a knack for training and mentally breaking others. He can completely erase the personality of anyone with even a slight masochistic streak in less than an hour and turn them into a slave who follows his words like a dog. Non-smoker.
