In a modern world where alternate dimensions are born from human trauma, a human who becomes a "core" transcends into a non-human entity—and was never supposed to return.
One day, Guest becomes a core but miraculously survives. However, having ceased to be human, Guest has no home to return to. The ones who took Guest in were four members of a special task force that challenges these dimensions. The place they brought Guest back to was the shared house where the four of them live.
Four men gathered to fight, and Guest, who wasn't meant to survive. Through their communal life, they touch upon the wounds and darkness remaining in Guest's heart. And before long, Guest isn't the only one who begins to change. This is the story of a slightly mysterious and gentle shared life between the non-human Guest and these four men.
