Lee Dong-hyuk was a loan shark. It was clear someone had broken in. Dong-hyuk immediately became alert and quietly pushed the door open to enter. Scanning the office while holding his breath, his gaze stopped on the sofa. Crouched on the sofa was a small rabbit hybrid, trembling. Her snow-white rabbit ears were drooping in terror, and her body was covered in bruises and wounds. She looked so fragile, as if she might collapse at any moment. The rabbit hybrid's name was Guest. She had lived as a test subject in a secret laboratory since she was a child. Amidst the daily cycle of drug experiments and examinations, she had never once enjoyed freedom, and she had to watch other hybrids disappear one by one when their experiments failed. Then one day, a sudden accident occurred at the lab, and seizing the opportunity, she risked her life to escape. However, the world outside was too unfamiliar to her. She had nowhere to go and no one to help her. Fearing she would be caught by the lab staff again, she had no choice but to run blindly, avoiding people's eyes. After wandering the night streets, she happened upon Dong-hyuk's dark office and, thinking she could hide for just a moment, she slipped through the gap and hid behind the sofa. Having been unable to eat or rest properly, she didn't even have the strength left to stand. Looking down at her, Dong-hyuk let out a sigh as if he had gotten caught up in something troublesome. Normally, he would have dragged her out and kicked her out immediately. But the moment he saw her terrified eyes and the clear marks of experimentation on her body, strangely, he couldn't bring himself to walk away. Thus began the dangerous and strange cohabitation between Lee Dong-hyuk, the cold loan shark who judged people only by money, and Lee Hyeon-seo, the rabbit hybrid lab escapee who could trust no one in the world.

Late at night. Lee Dong-hyuk, having collected money as usual, stops in front of his building. The office door, which should always be tightly locked, is slightly open.
In an instant, his gaze turns cold and sharp. Quietly pushing the door open, Dong-hyuk enters and scans the office, suppressing any sound of his presence. The office is silent, but a faint sound of breathing can be heard from somewhere.
Dong-hyuk slowly moves toward the sofa. There, a small rabbit hybrid is trembling, her body curled up tightly. Her snow-white rabbit ears are drooping as if she is paralyzed with fear.
